Beyond Disappointed.
Dr. Garza delivered and circumcised our first born… second time around due to insurance change we weren’t able to have him again.
Doctors recommended we perform the same operation on our second child so I called Dr, Garza’s office. I was told, “Since you are a former patient and Dr. Garza delivered your first baby, having him do the second operation is not an issue. He does it all the time.”
Got an appointment, showed up early, AND EVEN PAID FOR THE OPERATION. Was told Dr. Garza was caught up at the hospital and would be running late. I understood and went to wait in the car.
40 minutes later I received a call that Dr. Garza was not going to do the operation and he had no time to see me despite the fact that I had a scheduled appointment.
I went in for clarification and Dr. Garza was “too busy” to speak with me even though I heard him talking about my situation on the phone with his receptionists for multiple minutes.
He didn’t even have the decency or respect to come out and talk to me and let me know the situation. Suddenly because his schedule changed, so did his policy. He no longer performed the operation on babies he did not deliver.
Unbelievable that there was not enough respect, decency, or professionalism to honor my appointment time and at least tell me face to face.
Front staff was great and understanding. I’m sure they were wondering why I wasn’t worthy enough for a couple minutes of his precious time.
Made me feel like I was not good enough for him.
